As mentioned earlier, big part of the #Patvinsuo National Park's area is swamps. Mostly the paths are on solid ground but not all and on those paths duckboards are in use. Actually quite a fun to walk on these.

Erster Eindruck von Patvinsuo: Vielversprechend! Ich bin für zwei Nächte in einer kleinen ehemaligen Fischerhütte untergekommen. Ohne Strom und fließend Wasser, aber gemütlich.

Heute war Wandertag im #Patvinsuo-Nationalpark. Es ging einmal um den See Suomunjärvi herum. Recht einfach zu begehende 16 km, mit 20 Grad war es für Wandern aber eigentlich zu warm.
Das kristallklare Wasser des Sees ist schon ein Highlight!

We visited Patvinsuo National Park (in Eastern Finland) about ten years ago. I didn't see any bears (and that was just fine 😁). Just some tracks in the swamp and a funny (?) INFO-sign. #hiking #photography #nature

Ich bin mittlerweile umgezogen von der kleinen Fischerhütte in das Nationalpark-Besucherhaus, wo es ein paar Gästebetten gibt.
Hier gibt es durch eine Solaranlage sogar etwas Strom und einen Gasherd. Fließend Wasser ist aber auch hier Fehlanzeige.
