Pearadise promised plus-size women the one thing the world kept denying them: a place to be celebrated instead of judged. Founded in Las Vegas during the pandemic by Stefan Wilhelmy, it grew into a viral community with a customized mansion and nearly 250,000 followers. But former members allege the body-positive ‘utopia’ hid coercive control, a fetish economy, and a price they were never warned about — and one young woman, Kass Parades, is now dead at 29. In this episode I walk through the whole thing in order: the cultural wound that built the demand, the promise and the platform that supplied the reach, life inside the house, the ‘feeder’ dynamic the women describe, the human cost, and the accountability vacuum that’s left the gates open to this day. Everything here is alleged and attributed; Stefan Wilhelmy denies all allegations, has not been criminally charged, and a defamation suit he filed against former members was reportedly dismissed. This is an investigative, survivor-centered look at coercion, consent, body image, and platform responsibility — not an endorsement of any group or practice.
