"Pechy" in- a Horny Comic about Messing with Biology and Living your Dreams In a house, a large, pod-like machine with a heavy door hums, then pings like a microwave. In a poof of smoke, a small reptilian creature with big ears and little wings looks at her own claws in shock. "Brilliant! Your Pokemon DNA sequences were spot on!" Bill exclaims, taking notes. "We'll run some immediate tests while-" He is interrupted by the creature jumping and cheering with joy, then playing at being a little monster and shouting "I'm a pokemon, I'm a pokemon!" "This will revolutionize our knowledge of pokemon!" Bill says, clasping hands with the nidorina-sized creature. She responds "I'll do my best from here on out, Bill!". Three weeks later, Bill cracks open a deer and peeks into a dark supply closet. He looks tired. "Pechy...! It's already ten o'clock. We've got a lot to get done today. Pechy is backed into a corner, on all fours, hissing and spitting like a trapped, feral raccoon. "Pechy we cannot do this every morning." Bill adds, lifting his coffee mug to his face.

"Okay, since you don't know any moves, we're going to have to find your type via resistance testing" Says Bill. "Hit me!" Pechy assures, stancing up. "You're likely Poison/Fairy, so this shouldn't have any effect at all." Bill has a zubat perched on his arm. "Ready?" Bill shouts "Zubat, use Toxic!" and zubat screeches and lets loose a blast of poisonous goop, slapping directly onto Pechy's face. The scene transitions to Pechy wrapped in a blanket on the couch, looking sick and sweaty. Tissues and antidote bottles litter the area. Bill, off-screen, stutters "I- if you're feeling any better tomorrow, we'll try something a little easier, alright? Do you want anything from the pokemart?" Pechy replies weakly, "...Flowers, for my grave." A new day. Bill calls out to Pechy who is face-to-face with a Sawk. "Okay! If you need to abort at any time, just say so. He's not very aggressive, so don't worry too much." The sawk stoically stares down Pechy, who nervously asks "Ha ha, H-hey... What's up?" The sawk replies calmly but his words are a mixture of words and pokemon cries. Pechy perks up, realizing she is understanding some of it. "I'm -- what - sort - pokemon are --" it says. "You can call me Pechy!" she replies. She calls out to Bill "Hey it's working! I'm not getting a whole lot, but we can work with this!" The sawk looks befuddled, and then a bit scary. "Hey, - can speak - humans? - - True?" It asks. "Uh... Yes..?" She replies again nervously. Suddenly it looks emotional. "Can.. you tell Bill how cool I - he is? - wanted to say so, but I can't, y - I want - very special trainer -" says the sawk. Pechy replies, slightly relieved. "O- oh. Yeah, s-sure thing!" Another day. "All right then, elemental typing resistance testing: day two!" Bill is making notes. "Resistance to fire... none" He says as Pechy struggles to touch a charmeleon's flame. Next, a jolteon plays with her, giving her a lot of light shocks. Pechy seems effected. "No electric immunity, not wholly unexpected..." Bill crosses out "ground" on his list. "Poison" is already crossed out several times over. Next, a dragonite inhales sharply, then lets loose a dragon breath attack. Pechy, arms spread, allows herself to be consumed by the blast, laughing maniacally. Bill notates off-screen un-amused, "Fairy type... but you knew that already." Another day of testing. Bill is staring at his clipboard and remarks, "I believe we've nearly narrowed down your type. Your bug resistance is exceptional, I'll bet anything it's double. Toxic made you ill, but we can't discount poison... your humanity may be the trouble there. All that's left is fighting, but that feels unlikely." Pechy replies "Aww c'mon. We could try a fairy attack quick. You've got that little Cleffa right? Have it use whatever. If I'm poison, it'll halve the damage. If not, I DOUBT I'm weak. No biggie!" she waves her hand dismissively with a smile. Next, Pechy sits while admiring the very cute Cleffa. Bill asks "ready?". "Ready!" she replies. Cleffa readies a fairy-type attack. The panel cuts to black as Bill's voice calls out "pechy? pechy!" from the darkness. She opens her eyes. "Thank goodness, you're awake. You're not going to believe this, but I was dead wrong!" Bill looks excited as he says this. Pechy is in a bed, looking vacantly upset, bandages on her face.

There's a knocking at the door. A voice calls out "Hello-! Is anyone home?" Bill, dressed more casually today, opens the door slowly. Professor Oak is standing in the doorway! He's holding a large envelope. Oak speaks. "Bill! Long time no see! I'm sorry for barging in. A parcel came for you, but it was delivered to my address. Couldn't find any kids to walk here for me." Bill of course looks distraught. Oak is now looking over Pechy on a table. She is standing on all fours and only making animal sounds. "Just amazing! A new Pokemon found right in your garden! And you say it only talks sometimes?" Oak asks. "Y-yeah. I think she may just copy things she's heard before." Bill lies, only somewhat convincingly. Oak asks "Have you been recording your observations? I'm quite excited to hear more." "Ah well, I thought maybe I'd wait and watch her a bit more and I dunno..." Bill trails off nervously. The Professor begins to scold Bill a little. "Now Bill. listen to me. This is a unique opportunity for you. You've made your name in computing circles, but pokemon research is much more competitive." "I -like- my computing circles. Pokemon is a hobby..." Bill protests. Oak isn't really listening. "Don't let someone else take this off your hands! I want to see a full report in two months' time. After some time has passed, they part ways and Oak returns home. Bill is now panicked at what just happened. "Pechy what are we gonna do?? We're not even close to ready yet. I can NOT have the ethics board on my ass again!" He stops shaking her. "I think I need to lay down a while. Pechy meanwhile, has a blank but devious expression on, with "A full report" repeating in her mind. Bill has been laying in his bed with the lights off. Pechy approaches with a piece of paper. "Okay Bill so here's a list of pokemon I'm willing to band, and here's a copy of that list in case you lose it." "Can you please talk like a normal woman for once in your new life." "Are you still moping about today?" "Are you not worried about it at all?" "I think he'll only be annoyed that we lied so quickly. Once all out research is dont, it'll work out. Everyone will be so impressed!" Pechy knocks a pokeball off his dresser, releasing Pommy, his aipom. She continues- "You gotta calm down anyway. It's not like it's illegal to-" "THERE IS A SOCIAL TABOO" Bill interrupts. Pechy ignores him. "Well for now, no one has to know. If you have a better idea, tell me after your nap. Come on Pommy, I need your help with some branches." Pechy casually leaves the room. "You're avoiding me again!" Bill accuses, but the door has already been slammed shut. He falls silent. "It's fine, he assures himself. An image of his friend in her new body, smiling at him in a way he's never seen when she was human, flashes in his mind. "Just don't think about it." Pechy and the Sawk are training together. He says (unclearly, Pechy can only half-understand pokemon) "Great work! Pechy, Clasher, and Bill are eating berries and pokepuffs by the cape. "So, how's practice?" Bill asks, "Have you figured out any moves?". "Pechy mumbles "mm-mn." (no). Bill continues, "Ah, shame. She leans into the bottom drawer of a filling cabinet. "Say, uh... Pechy...?" Bill nervously asks. "Did you maybe want to, uh, to maybe put something on? considering yo-". Pechy interrupts, "Bill you know I don't wear clothes anymore". She is leaning more into the cabinet, her bare ass cheeks on full display. A later time. Pechy is gesturing at a Mr. Mime next to her, with an expression that says "Really!?", though she is not saying it. "Beggars can't be choosers, Pechy. Come on and be a good sport." Bill replies. On his laptop, we can see a conversation between him and some friends, who seem annoyed he was asking for a morgrem on short notice, as it's fairly rare. "Fiiiine...." Pechy sighs. The Mr. Mime tries to show Pechy how to use a fairy-type move. Pechy mirrors his poses but is unable to produce any sparkling effect. Mr. Mime pats her head sympathetically. "AAAAAAAAAA I GIVE UP THIS SUCKS I DIDN'T WANT TO LEARN ANY STUPID MOVES ANYWAY" Pechy yells and tears apart a pokemon move book dramatically, standing on top of the filing cabinet. "Do you want to take a break? We still have your check-up today.." Bill tries to calm her as she breaths heavily with frustration. Because she is standing on a tall shelf, he can see her nude groin a little too clearly. "Maybe if I BUY her pants..." he thinks to himself. Pechy's mood improves with his suggestion. "Hell yeah forget this! Check-up check-up!" She chants. "There you go again, getting excited." Bill replies. "It's that ASMR, baby." she responds.

"You haven't got ANY pokemon." Bill reminds her, feeding an eevee. Pechy leans away from the desk dramatically. "Keeping a pokemon is too much responsibility! I've already got my hands too full helping you out to be feeding some freeloader." The eevee responds "Rude." Bill asks "How about we try training just one more time? You'll feel better. He's not exactly exotic, but I have Pommy here." Pechy recalls her last meeting with 'Pommy', a small Aipom, a monkey-like pokemon, looking silly. "Pommy... Well , he's a cute lil' guy at least." She thinks to herself, a little disappointed. After being let out of the pokeball in the yard, Pommy appears and says "Whoa, W- YOU supposed to be?" His face looks much more handsome than in her memories. "..What's up?" he asks, not having gotten a response. He is taller than Pechy now that she is also a pokemon. "Oh he's a CUTE lil' guy." Pechy thinks, looking love-struck. LATER... Pommy is conversing with pechy. She half-underestands him as usual. "d- try.." "yes" "- a few more stretches?" "uugh" "Have you focused on the ---" "...what?" "--" "Actually, nevermind." Pommy crosses his arms. "Well, - out of ideas." he sighs. "Bill! Let's wrap this up. I think this move thing is gonna need a whole different strategy." She is turning to Bill off screen. "You sure?" "Yeah. Can you do me a favor?" Bill is by the backyard stairs, Pechy is on the grass. "Can you look for what's left on my statistics list? I'm gonna chill out here." "Just don't eat any weird plants this time." He responds, closing the door behind him. Pechy watches as he leaves. She then turns to Pommy and flirts with him, getting close to his body, and touching his chest fur. Pommy is blushing a lot but looks nervous. Bill is inside looking at a list of "essential attributes" in pechy's research file. Many things are crossed off, with only "Egg Group" remaining un-checked. It's also circled. He crinkles his nose and looks conflicted. He briefly glances out a back window and spots Pechy getting handsy with Pommy. He averts his gaze quickly, confused and a perhaps in denial. The next morning. "Oh, right, egg group." Pechy is holding a piece of paper nonchalantly. "We just gotta see if I lay an egg or something right?" Bill turns in his chair suddenly, hands shaking a little. "Oh y-you found the sheet, g-great! I thought it was lost, forever, in all that clutter!" he says unconvincingly. "Y- y- you're awful casual about the... implications, here." He presses her. "Huh? We've done lots of crazy shit for science. I mean look at me." She looks completely unfazed.
