A top & very hot day 2 for our group as #DDay began! It was all about the #Airborne landings at #PegasusBridge,a stop at the #MervilleBattery,lunch with the boys at #Ranville @cwgc.bsky.social #Cemetery & then onto #SwordBeach & the story of the #Commandos

A brilliant 2nd day with our family group as we started the day looking at the #Airborne operations at #PegasusBridge & #Ranville before a bit of lunch with the boys. The afternoon was spent dicussing #German defence at #Merville & then onto our 1st beach, sword & the story of the commandos.

What a brilliant 2nd day with our family group! Today was all about the #Airborne, #Commandos & #SwordBeach. This included visits to #PegasusBridge & museum, #MervilleBattery, then down to Sword beach & the memorials & stories of the commando landings... all finished with a good burger! #WW2
