The Peguis First Nation converted its multiplex — home to the Peguis Juniors hockey team — into an emergency shelter for up to 300 people. It was more than half-full this past weekend.

I saw the flag behind the guitarist to the right and double checked - that's the flag of Peguis First Nation.
I remember when William Prince was sleeping in his car when he played Trout Forest Music Festival. I remember thinking if there was any justice in the world, he would find his audience. It was so great to see his triumphant sold out show at Centennial Concert Hall in Winnipeg tonight.
