The Peoplebusters Get “Real” in New Ghostbusters Halloween Short: ghostbustersnews.com/2026/10/20/t...

I legit blocked the Peoplebusters out of my memory. Pure terror.

SLIMER’s unique ecto-harmonics allowed the Team to see a commercial from a different reality offering the PEOPLEBUSTERS services of human hunting and elimination!

Blueberry flavored Peoplebusters ghost

A 1:12 The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-1 and Peoplebusters announced from Mondo at SDCC!

There’s an episode of The Real Ghostbusters where there are ghost versions of the characters. And it could be argued that the Season 1 episode ‘Take Two’ confirms that the animated series is the reality and the movies are the adaptations. 🙃

In The Real Ghostbusters episode “Flip Side,” Peter, Ray, and Egon wind up in “Boo York,” face-to-face with their creepy counterparts — the Peoplebusters! 👻

For those who don’t know, *1* Mondo fig is $100 min. 4 Ghostbusters, 4 ghosts, plus Janine, and you’re at a mortgage payment. Not to mention the space.

But the PeopleBusters? Without accidentally stumbling across that episode, I have no GB fandom.

We’ll make room.

Mondo Peoplebusters coming 2027!

The phantasmal foursome includes ghastly iteration of Peter, Ray, Egon, and a brand new, never before seen Winston! Along with a humanized Slimer counterpart.
