I knew nothing about Peranakan culture until I found your posts. The clothing style has been a revelation to me, in an era where clothes are made and cut for the cheapest mass market setting, it is refreshing to see the details of an artisan concerned with color, texture and delight to the eyes

It has been close to a week since and I am still floored by how Noble drew this art piece for me esp the Peranakan Chinese references that hit me hard 🥹🥹
