Clergy Stalls by Ernest Gimson, 1907 at Roker, Sunderland for #Woodensday. Sober, simple, beautiful. Pevsner thought Gimson the greatest of all the Arts and Crafts architect-designers.

Back at Kilpeck Church, Herefordshire.

Pevsner described the decoration as ‘sumptuous.’
