This is not the time for Canada or any other country to double down on fossil fuels with plans to expand extraction, production and exports.
There will never be a time for that ever again.

Why doesn't the Canadian mainstream media report on this?

Why?

I take these polls for what they are:

Would like to add one more point:

3) The failure of the mainstream media to adequately and constantly report on climate change, and that is mainly caused by the burning of fossil fuels.

Polls in Canada regarding climate change and fossil fuels point out the following:
1) the effectiveness of oil and gas industry disinformation
2) that many Canadians often have little knowledge about the topics they are surveyed about.

Once people find out they turn against these projects.
Let's keep in mind Canada especially is a massive spending location for oil and gas PR.

Our Prime Minister had the momentum to unite us around renewables and chose instead to back taxpayer funded pipelines & repeat that PR.

This could look much different under different circumstances and choices.
