I was a switchboard/PBX operator in the 80’s, we were replaced by phonetrees, I suspect AI will be much the same. Everyone screaming REPRESENITIVE! After being lost.

It used to be you could hit the 0 and get through to an operator or some such, though I don't know whether that still works. (Might be worth a try, at least!)

I’m doing some brief info sessions for people to start 🧊 awareness and this little group of upstate NY resistlib moms I just had are now making zines and phonetrees and gonna talk to local businesses. They were so earnest and so mad. It’s out there; it’s happening.

This is something bilingual+ people could organize around for their communities. Posts, feeds, phonetrees to reach who the admin is working to cut off.
