Sure you have to show a photoID or Driver's license to check into a hotel, but women don't have to haul around their birth, marriage and divorce papers to check in.

I'll take verification via a stripe payment over handing my photoID or other such PII to a privately owned 3rd party age verification company any day of the week, who will absolutely either skimp on security measures and/or just outright sell the data. The two aren't remotely comparable lol
