Mom dropped her physics major for pure math in college b/c one prof told her that she would never get an A in his class ("how would that make the men feel?"). Also, there was no women's room in the PhysSci building. 4-hr labs & she was expected to go across the street to BioSci if she needed to pee.

Today would have been the 99th birthday of physicist Fay Ajzenberg-Selove, who throughout the mid 20th century served as the world’s nexus for information on the energies of the light elements. Here is her story!

Corralling the Light Elements: The Nuclear Spectroscopy of Fay Ajzenberg-Selove
In the opening days of the Nazi attack on France, a Jewish engineer took his family aside and instructed them on how to commit suicide by slitting their wrists, explaining that death by one’s own hand...

As part of that prep, school districts have been told that ALL HS students have to be tested once that includes all DCI’s (ESS, PhysSci, LifeSci, Engineering/Tech), Environmental Principles, Science Practices, and Cross Cutting Concepts (see below).

Even most SocSci/Hum fac teach this badly - personal reform rather than social change - but the whole point is outside the disciplinary boundaries and pedagogical training of Bus., NatSci, PhysSci, Tech, Ed & professional program educators - much less parents, teachers, coaches, & religious leaders

No, you're full of it. Our natsci/physsci/engin/math faculty - our ROTC program and business school - have all been part of efforts to increase the number of women and minority students in their majors. Our Bio, Psych, and Medicine faculty teach and research things you seem to consider woke.
