Evening busy work is to redo my ADS-B setup. A recent upgrade of the piaware stuff seems to have impacted the count of aircraft I'm picking up. Lesson learned...don't upgrade if it's all working fine. Should be easy enough to reflash the PI SD Card, add the piaware and fr24 feeder software.

It runs the Piaware suite of decoders and the tar1090 map viewer. While I display just local flights, the big antenna on the roof has a range of about 200 miles!

I have a 2nd pi4 and it is not Running at all. I have piaware Running the background on that one making use of port 8080, is that in use with dxchrono?

BTW, s tím #SDR můžeš zkusit chytat i #ADS-B data z letadel. Např. via #PiAware

I have had a piaware Rpi running for years. ADS-B is very cool. I also have one for SatNogs, but disused since my antenna rotor broke.

It opens, starts to fill the screen then crashes with a bus error.
I do have piaware running so have to start in the terminal with -e -1 to redirect restful server from port 8080.
But still.. seems odd!
Haven't run it for a while. Old version perhaps...
