I asked #Gemini to redesign CTRBuddy using #PicoCSS (classless css framework) and this the result. I'm a minimalist and like these minimalist design. I might use this one, once done with bots #BuildInPublic

Holo.js is a new UI framework for Javascript. You can build all sorts of web apps with it.
You can also integrate it with Vite, BeerCSS, picocss, Material Web Components, ESM and more.

Here are two websites written with it:
1- holo.js.org (+devtools, press Shift+Tab to toggle)
2- neoapps.is-a.dev

I really like #DaisyUI but I hate its verbosity (tailwindcss). I love #PicoCSS for its simplicity and how *classless* it is. Thanks to AI, I can have the best of both world. Let me introduce you to #PicoDaisy josuebrunel.github.io/picodaisy/

Yeah, I’m tired of using tailwind and bootstrap isn’t really what I’m looking for in a library sure there are other but meh. I recently discovered picocss and instantly liked it. So I’m writing my own version.

If you want to make a decent looking website without writing a single line of CSS, you can look for a semantic framework/ library. I highly recommend PicoCSS!

You just write HTML using semantic elements like
,
, etc and it handles the styles for you! picocss.com

Trying PicoCSS after many years of Bootstrap and Tailwind. The simplicity is pretty mind-blowing ngl. This would have cut MVP-time down quite a bit back then.

This looks great! I’ll be following the development. I’m a big web components proponent too :) I’ve used picocss for years, and this seems like it has a similar ethos plus web component patterns 😍

Started to get back into my semantic CSS library I am making with PostCSS. I am basing it off of PicoCSS which aims to style semantic HTML. I am also including some utilities that I often reach for when using Tailwind. Currently writing docs and tweaking styles 😆

Picocss is perfect for making little tools.Mix that with go templating and some vanilla JavaScript and you pretty much have rival to any FE JavaScript framework out now with way less overhead

Maybe the OpenProps normalize could be extended to include some of the things PicoCSS has.

@kkinder.com I've used PicoCSS, TailwindCSS, DaisyUI, and AlpineJS on my projects to quickly create live-updating dashboard views.

But I want to dive deeper into web components.

I've heard good things about Shoelace, and I know people who have rolled their own.

I like it but there are times I struggle with sizing logic and also I really don't like doing *everything* by hand. someone make a semantic HTML component library that isn't Tailwind based and isn't picocss pls

Rewrote my small project from ~10 years ago from AngularJS+Bootstrap in HTMX and PicoCSS. I wrote zero JavaScript, I embraced No Build getting rid of package.json and everything around it. So good. I haven’t had so much joy from FE development in a while.
