A bunch'a fatasses crowded 'round the picturebox! They seem entranced...
I wanted to do more with this but what was initially meant to be a sketch ballooned (lol) out of proportion so I decided to control myself. At least, a little.

And this is my oneshot for Angel Alastor x Angel Vincent; an AU of an AU that took on a life of its own, where Cherry’s Angel Alastor suddenly had an angelic picturebox man following him around in hell after voluntarily going there (again, art links in the fic!)

Comic Collecting Reminiscences:
I've collected comics for 42 years. In 2006 I attended my first SPX. After that, I was all-in on mini comics and indy creators. It was great!
Examples:
Cold Heat by Frank Santoro & BJ
Giant THB by Paul Pope
Last Island by Alex Cahill
Rambo 3.5 by Jim Rugg

...and then I remembered what one of my favorite writers, Charles Willeford, had said about Frank Mansfield, the protagonist of his novel Cockfighter. This is from the Jesse Pearson introduction to the Picturebox edition of Cockfighter. I reread that, and there we go!
![Willeford told them that "he preferred clean, solid names for his heroes, and he wanted a good one for [Cockfighter]. He decided on Mansfield for the last name because cockfighting was a man's field. Since his hero was sincere, honest to a fault, a deal said a deal done, he selected Frank."](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:tnpbfmojyrss2yhks4vaggln/bafkreie5jydejtpcssdorxeozdfz4q36abdmbtohpsbef65t4xqwikoj2e)

Vox’s-
Vincent’s
- large crt head provided a comfortable weight while it rested against Alastor’s exposed chest fluff. His picturebox having earned the rare affection for his impressive Display aiding Alastor with some low-life sinners that had made a mess of his territory.

If a game is giving you a hard time and you finally beat that boss, celebrate cause you did it! Not because you got a little picturebox ticked that no one is going to look at. If a game feels too easy but you otherwise enjoy make up restrictions for yourself even if there's no achievement to pop.
