The Pinal County Board of Supervisors received an informational update on the SunZia Transmission Project — completed in Pinal County in June 2026 — and heard that Pattern Energy Group requested time to brief the board. No action or vote was taken.

Planning staff briefed supervisors on several major comprehensive-plan amendment requests (Rosebud Energy Center and two additional green-energy conversions) that would redesignate hundreds of acres to ‘green energy production.’ The board set a public schedule for CAC, P&Z and final decision.
