The trail doesn't care. It's indifferent to your needs if you are cold, wet, or thirsty. It couldn't care less about your blistered feet. A mountain you must climb or a sudden snowstorm pays no heed to your feelings and physical condition.

Hi, I’m a baseball bat when I was 4, almost drowning twice(ikr?), myself, a mountain lion(hiking the Pinhoti trail), getting shot at in Birmingham, robbed in Anniston at gunpoint(I was talking shit) possible tetanus from a nail in my ankle & foot(different times) infection from a root canal. 🙃😅☠️

Talladega National Forest (northeast) is absolutely beautiful! I’ve camped there several times over the years. I’ll be there in November. Pinhoti trail goes through and is fun to explore!
