Spring in Winter Continued
These beautiful pink-sorrels (really purple…) were blooming on our greenbelt around Christmas. I guess they would qualify as Christmas January.

Flowering weed ... or not?
Saw this pinksorrel on an unusual walk thru the neighborhood. Is it a weed? Maybe! I've seen it growing wild or feral here.
Otoh it was by a mailbox so maybe it was put there and neglected?

Flowering weed for today: pinksorrel, Oxalis articulata. Seen over near the church today. I didn't take a picture with a dime, but these are about the same size flowers as O. violaceae, if a little lower growing. Also these seem to prefer sun and the violet woodsorrel prefers shade.
