Massport announced Christopher Donisi, 43, as the "Voice of Logan" winner on Thursday. Donisi is a husband, father and HVAC pipefitter who grew up in East Arlington, and currently lives in Burlington.
The town where I grew up is directly opposite NE Philly. The pipefitter moves there when he wants a little yard. Growing up my friends' parents had the thick midcentury Philly accent but we almost never did. It was there to a greater or lesser extent, I lost mine, but nobody sounded like dad.
