As a game developer, I'd like to give my two cents on PirateSoftware's response to the movement, especially this section.
This movement could outright change the game's industry and give rights to consumers, which we desperately lack, and so I believe it's important to set the record straight.

I really appreciate PirateSoftware's positivism in regards to motivating beginners into making games. I seriously do.
However his point of view as a developer is seriously overarching and he did not even attempt to understand this as customers trying to enjoy games we buy.

An initiative is just an initiative. This is just "let's talk and find a middle ground between all parties" with a base idea that's pro-consumer. I did check PirateSoftware's videos at times, and the more I think about it, the more I think he deflected the thing on pure details and wording.
