They could never make me hate you, Dark Pit. I like that Pittoo is represented by an acoustic guitar that doesn't appear in any other track in the game that doesn't associate with him, it really sells that he's an independent, god-defying entity.

Anyways 1 was the lie
1 is the lie: 1) I know they’re called PEG knights for a reason, and I won’t deny that I crushed on Hinoka (and still do) similarly to how I’m down horrendous for Caeda now for example (I wish I could say more but it’s been over 6 years since I last played Fates so I forgot a lot of details. I did vibe with Hinoka despite her lack of screen time, which upset me, and I remember liking her support conversations with her siblings though). …But, while I joked about finding certain Fire Emblem characters attractive, so much so that I jokingly called them my wife (iykyk), I never EXPLICITLY shipped myself with ANY of FE characters, including Hinoka. I think if I played FE games around the time I played Octo Expansion and Kid Icarus Uprising, I would’ve started shipping myself with the FE cast as well, but at the time I actually played them, I moved on from the self shipping. 2) After I finished Octo Expansion, I jokingly decided that Agent 8 would be my self insert and shipped myself with Agent 3 (tbf all the agents and now the mechanic are self inserts). The reason for the shipping was that I thought Three’s torn cape looked cool, and Splattack! (Octo) was such a badass theme, so much so, I STILL LISTEN TO IT TO THIS DAY VIA NINTENDO MUSIC. I love characters with a badass theme. Anyways the shipping was only for a short while and so that I could annoy my irl friend about it (we were on call and completed the dlc at the same time), but then I got bored and decided to repurpose that self insert oc as an ACTUAL Splatoon OC instead. Also the Agent 3 X Agent 8 yuri/yaoi/straoi whatever ended up being more interesting than whatever I was “cooking” up back then. 3) While I never got Kid Icarus Uprising on launch day (didn’t watch a playthrough until 2015, and didn’t play the game until 2018/19), I WAS still introduced fully to the Kid Icarus franchise through Smash 4, which I played around launch day. I thought Dark Pit’s voice lines when slandering his opponents (ESPECIALLY Pit) and his overall hater energy was both funny and cool, so much so, I ended up maining him (and STILL main him in SSBU btw). As for why I started shipping myself with Pittoo… Well, reminder that I love characters with a badass theme! Dark Pit’s air battle theme lives on my mind rent free + any time he’s on the screen in Uprising, he’s IMMEDIATELY aura farming and stealing the spotlight…WE GET THE FIT BRO!!!! (affectionate) Now to summarise all of the above, I used to write shitty fanfics where I shipped myself with either Agent 3 or Dark Pit. Sadly they don’t exist because they were on my old phone, which broke in 2023. But even if they exist now… uhhhhhh I have no intention of posting them publicly. Not because I find them “cringe”, but because they only existed so that I could be extra annoying towards my irl friends about it LMAO (honestly though I’m more inclined to bring back the self ship with Dark Pit back through Tomodachi Life just for funsies-)

23. Kid Icarus Uprising

There is no game that kept me constantly entertained from all the banter, the character dynamics, and to how the stages could be fun and easy or absolute torture
The multiplayer was so fun and making weapons was a fun gimmick for main story
