Went exclusively with plant bits here. It quickly became its own new challenge

A dried rose petal lightly sits atop the thin dead leaves of a decorative plant. This macro photograph was made with a very low depth of field and so there is ample blurring. There is a tinge of gold and blue coloring to the high contrast lighting.

This one came out pretty noisy. But for now I’ll consider its flaws par for something that I’m pretty happy I took the time to make.

A cloud head rises dramatically in high contrast light. The wide angled perspective seems to give it a sense of movement. The sky behind it is a fading deep red and an orange glow reaches through it from beneath the frame.

A very low depth of field image of the leaf of a tropical plant at night. It is illuminated in deep red light with magenta highlights. The center of the image is in sharp focus showing the texture and contour of the plant while the rest is very blurred out in soft focus.

From my mobile photography gallery I offer this night shot for today's #BlueskyArtShow #transportation theme!

An old yellow brick building at night. Its state of disuse or renovation is uncertain. Tendrils of trailing plants reach up the plate glass windows from the sidewalk and an early 1990s Mercedes sits out front.

Don't have nearly as many pictures of cool vans as I wish I did but I've got this one! Been doing a lot more mobile photography and really enjoying it. #BlueskyArtShow #transportation

A vintage Chevy van sits on a cobblestone street surrounded by greenery. A simple abstract mountain scene has been painted on its side.

A deep zoom into a vast cloudscape. Bright white light radiates from a break in the clouds. A strange swirling appears overhead and there seems to be light as a liquid cascading from the high cloud ledges. Two small birds can be seen very far off.

Tropical toliage at night. Only a single plant's leaves are visible in the lower left of the image as the rest of the field is filled with vibrant magenta and lavender color gradients rendered through plants in very soft focus as well as internal light reflections within the camera lens.

A forest waterfall shot high ISO black and white film stock. Long exposure draws the water into thin streaks that cascade down rocks on the right side of the image. A large thin tree trunk rises on the left, reaching toward a bright white sky. An enormous rock ledge hangs across the center of this black and white film photograph. Above it grows a dense forest of trees and below it a broad waterfall cascades down and a few small shrubs cling to the sheer rock face.
