I was scared of 30 Brutes and Kragnos, but with all the debuffs they cant kill enough of my Models. Only a double from 1-2 could have been tough, but manageable, and the reroll denied it

4th Round against SliceNDice.

More basing progress, I found going back over with a black speedpaint marker gave my beast of Nurgle base a nicer finish so I’ll have to fish the ones I thought I was done with back out 🙃

Pics from today's BFG game. It was a furious battle in the dust clouds, which left the Plaguebearer a hulk and the Rot Bringer crippled. On the flank the frigates tussled, both of us losing one. Having given the Chaos raiders a bloody nose I disengaged my fleet having suffered minimal damage.

all worthwhile experiments. I get somewhere sorta close with some plaguebearer flesh -> Agrax -> DG Green -> Nurgling green - Yellow Glaze. I may mess around with some of your scheme and see how it turns out

Game 2 - Bloodstained Coasts vs Nurgle (Clubmate)
Played out like I thought it would. Both scored 10 T1 and 6 after, even on battle tactics. But I could have denied Siege 2, if I thought more about a pile-in.
Both had a push Turn 5 for a potential win but could not convert. So many dice for a draw 😅

Game 1 - Caverns of Slaughter vs Sylvaneth
Tough Matchup, especially with Roti Bubble not working until Turn 4. Had a path to a +1 win with Blazing 3, but wasn't able to get 2 units down in the end.
Probably should have parked the Rotswords in the forest instead of Plaguebearers and pushed ore

Played my first Nurgle Tournament with a pretty basic list. 2 Sylvaneth Matchups and 1 Mirror is not what I want to be paired against, but I'm happy with 1-1-1 and +17 points.
I'm getting my hang with Nurgle and did not run into time problems, which is also nice.

Okay, that's basecoats done and drying. Turns out the only actual normal acrylic on there is Dorado Skin. Gutrippa Flesh on the hood and tabard, Plaguebearer Skin on the cloak and shoulders. I'd have liked to use Malignant Green and Maggot Skin, but I don't have those. Hey ho!
