#Planescape:Torment
One of my earliest serious attempts to make games was making mods for Neverwinter Nights. If you know me, you wouldn't be surprised that I developed a series of non-violent games: volleyball and hide-and-seek are two I remember. (Volleyball involved punching a Will-o-Wisp).

BG3 made me start looking at older CRPG's like Planescape:Torment, Baldurs Gate 2 and Pillars Of Eternity which are all fantastic games!

Planescape:Torment, though…if they’d had that when I was a kid, I would have lost my tiny MIND.

invested in my companions that I was so viscerally upset when the game killed them that I stopped playing and didn’t pick it up again until I accidentally found out a year later that they could be revived.
As you can see, it still affects me decades later.
Planescape:Torment is still the GOAT.

Homeworld. The Barber Adagio is heartrending, and conjoured up just the right emotions at the right time.

Planescape:Torment. The soundtrack was a great shortcut to changing the feel, supporting the graphics, as you moved from plane to plane.

Diablo 2. Unbeatably good accompaniment to play.

Forgive, I hope, the curiosity.

Are you by chance related to Chris Avallone, who wrote some of the most amazing content in Planescape:Torment, the best-ever CRPG?

I have this vision of an amazing writing dynasty sneaking around.

Da fehlen auch ein paar großartige Spiele. Kein Planescape:Torment, keine Banner Saga. Wer soll das ernst nehmen?

For a horrible moment there, thought you were referring to the mod section for Planescape:Torment on Nexus.
Just our government, though. *whew*. What a relief!

Oh, I sympathize completely! That’s why it took ages for me to finish Planescape:Torment. I manage with both of those, though, by constantly bringing in one or two new guys to train up and get attached to. Still, I admit to restarting sometimes when my dumb errors get one of my starting guys dead.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbvM... A huge new Planescape Torment mod is coming soon?! And it looks really good?! Even the cutscenes look like they were in the original game. Of course we'll have to wait to see how the writing is but this is awesome. I love seeing modding projects like this.
