Before (December 1) and after (December 9) PlanetScope imagery shows potential damage from Israeli strikes on Mezzeh Air Base outside of Damascus on December 8 after the collapse of Assad's regime.

Can see a few differences between the two dates, mainly blackened areas near the hardened hangers.

Here's a PlanetScope image which appears to show Sarmat and the towed object about 200m apart (11:09 UTC on 21-09-2026).

The location matches Sarmat's reported AIS position.

Even with the two week delay in Planet imagery, can already start to see mass demolition of homes in southern Lebanon in PlanetScope imagery from March.

Rab El Thalathine and Al-Aadaissah, both near the border, have seen widespread destruction when comparing imagery from March 3 and March 18.

A Bellingcat satellite imagery analysis looked at town and village locations identified using OpenStreetMap, a community-driven map database. The map shows annotated PlanetScope imagery for the dates of March 2, 2026 — just after the recent US-Israeli war with Iran began — and May 8, 2026.

Der Gletscher ist in weiten Teilen eingestürzt, und der Boden ist freigelegt. Von hier aus ist vermutlich die Überschwemmung ausgelöst worden.

Recent PlanetScope imagery from @planet.com shows a new 2.6km-long berm that's been built by the IDF in south central Gaza near Kisufim Road. The berm roughly follows the "Yellow Line" that divides IDF-occupied areas and the rest of Gaza. Similar berms are visible elsewhere in the north and south.
