i worked planograms for YEARS. absolutely nobody is making you put those fixtures that close together, and if they are, you can firmly redirect them to the ADA regulations that require you to place at least 36 inches in between all fixtures to allow wheelchairs to pass through. knock that shit off.

The overnight operation doesn't just mean people can come in and buy shit, it means there's staff doing a bunch of operational stuff while the store is still making money. Planograms, cleaning, inventory adjustments, unloading trucks, filling shelves. All shit that's easier at night.
