Photograph of a multi-headed orange bloom on a kalanchoe houseplant. Plant was one of four found in a very sorry state near the pavement end of a garden. 'Saved' all which are now thriving. Assumed the house was empty so were left out for takers...turns out, perhaps not! Neglect plants and I'll be a modern-day Robyn Hood.

The racks were full at Lowes this morning. Lots of geraniums, petunias, and foxgloves. A few clematis. There was one Soulsister Dahlia and that’s what I got, since I know about the success Jean had with the dahlia she rescued. 🌸

The hanging baset was $8 and the bowl $2 which isn't bad for just the pots either way I'm not sure what it all in the hanging planter, some pink petunia for sure, but it's incredibly ugly just the way it is, which I think is why it was on clearance the plants are healthy Was also talking to the nursery manager about trees and we got to chatting, turns out she's practically a neighbour and we both love the same cedar hedge we drive past all the time She also has a headstone in my favourite cemetary and I pointed out some trees for her to look at there next time she goes past Look, apparently I'm a very easy person to tell your entire life story too lol

This little beech sat still for two years in the shade behind our shed. Moved it, replanted it (twice), finally gave it what it needed and now.. just look at those buds! It just needed a bit of sun, compost, and a second chance.
