I have a best of CD boxset of his and ‘Call The Comet’ on purple vinyl, he signed that one for me when I went to his Piccadilly Records album signing, and he gave me a plectrum, he had a pocketful of plectrums, a nice title for his next book 🙃📖🎸

Spent half an hour this evening awkwardly - and very slowly - playing the chords to I Kicked a Boy, All I Want is You, and True Faith; essentially, I sing a phrase, then pause to change chord, then sing the next phrase. It isn’t pretty, and my fingers hurt. My plectrums arrived, though.

Very soothing music, without being boring--still has a melody taking listeners from Point A to Point B. Not to distract from the calming bird sounds & plucking harpsichord plectrums. I used to listen to this before first period started, back when I was substitute teaching. Makes me want to play M&M.
