6. how do i plan my fics? my writing isn't plotdriven, it's not even driven by a deep interest in the character, it revolves around a specific kink, a scenario i want to explore, and let my characters act out the dynamics. so my stores aren't original in any sense, so don't require "planning".

Everything else comes from people expecting the show being something it's not and being disappointed in that. From people being too theorybrained and looking a character/theme-driven show as a plotdriven one to looking it as an IHNMAIMS adaptation to thinking it'd be pessimstic, when its optimistic.

tbf they did try to market brothership as this grand epic adventure with the way the trailers were edited and how they included stuff like bowsers army fighting against zokkets forces. The trailers imho made it clear it was more plotdriven or serious than most other Mario games.
