Over here we use the PlusLife tests sourced from Altruan. The machine is expensive, individual tests run 7 euros a piece (there's a community discount we pass around).
In the US I think Metrix is the main option?

A $4 portable device using tongue swabs can detect tuberculosis in 30 minutes, according to a study in the New England Journal of Medicine. The MiniDock MTB, by Pluslife Biotech, detected TB in 80% of swabs and 86% of phlegm samples in a multi-country study. The WHO endorsed the test in March 2026, the first for community use without labs.

I heard the opposite from a friend of a friend who tried to get one recently.

This one-year old thread on Reddit suggests that to order a Plus Life machine, Canadians need to say that they are from Switzerland or New Zealand to be able to process the order.
