The first group of our #FunDive #Barcoding Campaign finished their work! It was a busy three days, as 18 amazing people from 7 countries prepared 192 samples for #Nanopore sequencing! Every step was registered on the #PlutoF platform. We hope to publish the sequencing results soon!

enamus, mis mul normaalse fotoga dokumenteeritud on, panen iNaturalisti; PlutoF veebiversioon on üsna tülika kasutajaliidesega ning kasutajasõbralikum mobiilirakendus on mulle jälle teistpidi tüütu, sest ma ei viitsi pilte kogu aeg telefoni toppida :D

The entire jstor specimen ecosystem is a bit bizarre to me. As for GBIF records, I was thinking if smth like PlutoF can be used to digest from GBIF on demand->annotate->publish back as a separate dataset with original records linked. The question is for how long originals will exist (The Horrors).

Fungi and fungi-like organisms - 4EU+ Summer School From Fungal Morphology to Genotype, Białowieża 2025
A list of specimens and observations recorded during Field Mycology course on 20-27 September 2025 organized by 4EU+ Alliance in Białowieża (Poland). Participants took trips to various forest sites in the Białowieża Forest, collected various fungi and fungi-like organisms, and identified them during laboratory classes. Some specimens were dried, preserved, and deposited in the Herbarium of Warsaw University (WA), Warsaw, Poland. Others were only recorded as observations in the field.
