The historic Main Street district in Saint Charles, Missouri is filled with lots of beautiful old buildings. Here's 4 of them from a recent photo walk. Shot with a Pocket Dispo disposal camera lens on a Nikon Z6ii.

A few of the things that caught my eye on Main Street in St. Charles, Missouri while experimenting with a Pocket Dispo disposable camera lens on my Nikon Z6ii camera.

A metal bench with a back that is shaped like a butterfly. Three chairs are stacked one upon another as seen through an exterior window. The weathering paint around this back door drew me in. I ALWAYS take the time to walk the alley or street behind buildings. Used a Pocket Dispo disposal camera lens on a Nikon Z6ii.

A mid-century modern breeze block facade of a bank building with a brick wall below it. An A/C unit sits amongst some landscaping. Four orange and white traffic cones with caution tape draped between them mark a small area of construction on a sidewalk. A homemade paper sign indicates there is no parking from this location to an adjacent hydrant. An 8.5' tall bronze bust of Jean Baptiste Point DuSable who is created with founding Chicago. It is sitting in front of the Saint Charles County Historical Society building on Main Street. A picture of a multi-colored mid-block brick sidewalk in a brick street.

On Saturday I experimented with a Pocket Dispo disposal camera lens on my Nikon Z6ii camera. The only post processing was to use a Pocket Dispo Kodak film preset for Lightroom and some cropping. What do you think?

Tomorrow I'm trying something new. When I go to my Meetup group photo walk I'm going to shoot all my photos with a Pocket Dispo lens, built around a disposable film camera lens, on my Nikon Z6ii. Be on the lookout for the results to be posted in the next few weeks.

Playing with the #PocketDispo today. Since I don't have a manual focus I need to move my physical body to get the camera to focus. I like playing with the restraint and limitations. It definitely makes me focus on bigger picture compositions.

Another shot from my #pocketdispo lens. I shot this yesterday and the sense of nostalgia I get from it is wild, but I'm wondering if it actually evokes nostalgia for someone younger who grew up on digital photos instead of printed off film. Am I old?
