Polders Poelgeest cold E wind. The red necked grebe reappeared on the Leede river after going missing for over a week nfy and new for my PP list also an early spoonbill, pintail 11, pochard 21, white front over female goshawk hunting 9 barnacle geese N 44 tufted duck 2 stonechat #birds #dutchbirding

Polders Poelgeest NL return to cool north easterlies. Quality birding this am bluethroat giving terrific views garganey on Veerpolder a ruff 77 black tailed godwits 2 Mediterranean gulls elusive then confiding before being ejected by black headed gulls from the colony. #birds #dutchbirding

Polders Poelgeest NL return to cool north easterlies. Quality birding this am bluethroat giving terrific views garganey on Veerpolder a ruff 77 black tailed godwits 2 Mediterranean gulls elusive then confiding before being ejected by black headed gulls from the colony. #birds #dutchbirding

Elk jaar ga ik met mijn wandelvriendin wel 'n keer naar Kasteel #Poelgeest in #Oegstgeest om er te genieten van de grote hoeveelheid #bosanemonen. Vanmiddag was het zover. Daar ook lekker een terrasje gepikt. Tussen de bosanemonen stonden ook de #vingerhelmbloem (F3) en #sneeuwroem (F4).

Elk jaar ga ik met mijn wandelvriendin wel 'n keer naar Kasteel #Poelgeest in #Oegstgeest om er te genieten van de grote hoeveelheid #bosanemonen. Vanmiddag was het zover. Daar ook lekker een terrasje gepikt. Tussen de bosanemonen stonden ook de #vingerhelmbloem (F3) en #sneeuwroem (F4).
Polders Poelgeest NL Warmer east wind. 22 redshank flew north followed by 3 more 10 mins later small passage of meadow pipits >N &NE + 2 sand martin black tailed godwits down to 12, 2 avocet just as I was leaving 2 mediterranean gulls flew through ydys sedge warblers gone. #birds #dutchbirding

Kasteel Oud Poelgeest op de grens van Leiden en Oegstgeest. Het is nu op zijn mooist met een zee van witte bosanemoontjes.

Wandelde vanmiddag op het terrein van Kasteel Oud-Poelgeest in #Oegstgeest. De grond is daar namelijk voorlopig bezaaid met bosanemonen, narcissen en sterhyacinten. Ook nu weer was het genieten. Zelfs een aantal rododendrons bloeiden er al.
