A circle becomes an eye, the eye becomes a wheel, the wheel becomes an eclipse buried beneath violet dust. Crimson gathers first, calling the gaze like distant embers. Then magenta spills outward, drawing vision across invisible currents until cool rivers of blue offer a moment to breathe. The eye wanders, not in a straight line, but like a curious insect, hovering, retreating, discovering another impossible doorway. Grids promise order only to soften into tangled handwriting. Architectural fragments bloom beside delicate dots, spirals, crosses, ghostly diagrams, each appearing complete for only the length of a heartbeat before another translucent memory passes over it. Figures never fully arrive. A profile leans from the noise. An animal almost wakes. An ancient symbol introduces itself, then politely forgets its own name. Recognition becomes a tide, flowing in, slipping back into abstraction. The surface feels geological, less painted than accumulated— layers settling like ash, pollen, digital static, and the sediment of unfinished dreams. Depth is measured not by perspective but by remembrance. Light hides in unlikely places: a pale shimmer behind bruised purples, gold caught inside green, small explosions of white that briefly untangle the visual storm before surrendering once more to the chorus of overlapping forms. To look is to excavate. To linger is to discover that the image is quietly changing, not because the canvas moves, but because perception does. It feels less like observing a picture than standing inside a crowded memory, where every fragment is speaking at once, and meaning is carried not by a single voice, but by the harmony of beautiful interference.
