Well I didn't know it was #PoetryDayIreland but here's a wee one from John Hewitt (part of The Day of The Corncrake). Not really in the #MayDay theme but worth reading nonetheless. As found in the book by Cahal Dallat, featuring a bonus map by Johan Blaeu (1654)
