The September issue features Carolyn Forché, one of the most significant living American poets, credited with coining the term poetry of witness and a finalist for the Neustadt International Prize, alongside a substantial retrospective feature on the late poet Ted Joans and a special collection titled The Starry Field, gathering new Two-Spirit and Indigequeer poetry. The October issue is led by Campbell McGrath, a Pulitzer Prize finalist for his collection XX, and includes a section called Radical Poets of the Midwest alongside new work from Martha Collins and KB Brookins.
