Hoy empezamos con el cast de PoFV. La verdad es k como no son muchos personajes las acabé todas un mismo día. Aya fue la que más tiempo tomó. Con respecto al outfit, se supone que debía dibujarle la ropa que lleva en PoFV, pero me gusta más la que tiene en MoF.

She actually gets disadvantaged in PoFV by her other greatest weakness (fighting during daytime), which explains why she's a really early boss there too
So realistically, Mystia's never had a fair fight in either of her playable game appearances

I know I talk about this more than I should, but it is especially frustrating as a Mystia fan, because you see so many people who genuinely think her portrayals in IN and PoFV are still accurate today, when they are very much Not

Esto me está tomando mucho más tiempo del que debería, quizás dibujar al cast de PoFV sea más fácil porque sólo hay como 5 personajes (4 si no contamos a Yuuka).

It's actually interesting looking at Cirno's title in PCB vs PoFV where in PCB it is "氷の妖怪\Youkai of the Ice" but in PoFV it became "氷の小さな妖精\Small Fairy of the Ice". Guess it took Zun until PoFV to decide Cirno was a fairy.

iirc didn't Eiki even criticize her in POFV for being too close to the youkai end than most fairies or something along those lines.

EoSD NC's player hitbox in particular is smaller than any of the official touhou games (except for FW) - even reimu's smallbox from PCB to PoFV is larger.

I also got my PoFV 1cc with Cirno! Her traits are quite strong for single player in this game if you ask me.
Overall fairly happy with this. Shouldn't have lost a life to Reisen or Yuuka but oh well. I got my 1CC and I'm happy to be done with this one.

But yeah no memories of phantasm lost a lot of subtance as the eps went on, shit like the Hisoutensoku ep and the PoFV ep (hated this one) were just drags. Like how r u gonna go out of ur way to make ur own filler

I had spent the last few hours just looking over Sakuya's profiles from EosD to PoFV and her dialogue in EoSD writing down anything I found interesting and saw there is some growth in Sakuya from EoSD to IN's profiles which I don't think the actual dialogue in the games conveys

Cirno's a very charming character to me. In part for her simplicity of personality but also how dynamic she can be mechanically, and because ZUN knows when to give her just a bit more internality than previously seen (her PoFV ending and appearances in Sangetsusei for instance).

The only reason Mystia and Komachi didn't meet in PoFV is because ZUN couldn't implement a 2-hour unskippable cutscene of them making out despite his best efforts, so he scrapped the encounters entirely, knowing it wouldn't be the same without that

Never really thought about this before, but Mystia is an extremely rare case of never being able to see the full potential of a character's abilities

It's a bit of a shame compared to everyone else introduced in PoFV she seems by far the least popular.

They should really add the Tasofro spinoffs to the 'clears' section in the popularity poll survey
All of them have the same difficulty system as the mainline games (except SFW with 2 and AoCF with 5)
Multiple story routes isn't a problem either, because PoFV and UDoALG are also on there already

I gave it just one attempt to see how it is and she's a lot of fun for sure! I like Fairy Wars and TD playing around wuth the charge shot system from PoFV like that.
