Leaellynasaur Pokémon idea... ❄️

#PokemonArketa #Arketa #Fakemon
Some concepts of a Pokémon based on the Leaellynasaurus: a small, fluffy theropod with a very long tail that lived in cold environments. Some researchers believe that Leaellynasaurs might have used their long tails like scarves to help stay warm, which is the main idea this concept runs off of, giving this Pokémon a very "Nordic winter fashion"-type vibe.

I certainly have *MANY* ideas for how an Arketa game would look at play; so, I went ahead and put together a little UI concept experiment! ^^

Working on an animated teaser for Arketa!

The animatic is basically done at this point, so now begins the long process of animating this...

IT'S SPOOKY STEAMPUNK PIRATE CITY TIME!!! 👻

I really think that my LittleBigPlanet roots came out to show with this new theme for Arketa, even made it an interactive vertical track with 6 stems. x)

Once this scene is done, the next 4 will be pretty easy, then just 2 more after that before I finish the first segment of this animated teaser! :'D

Lutea's design is honestly ancient in terms of Arketa's development history- SO, REVAMP TIME

Might play with her design some more, but I'm really liking this so far!

#PokemonArketa #Arketa #oc
A front-on concept for a Lutea redesign on the left with the illustration for Lutea's old design on the right. Notable changes include bolder colours, a hood added to her jacket, a more detailed shirt, more defined shoes, fingerless gloves, and restylised cornrows on the right side of her hair (left for viewer).
