My kind of Christmas tree… made of books. At Polesden Lacey in Surrey ⁦‪@PolesdenLaceyNT‬⁩ #polesdenlacey

A few ‘house’ type things #littleadventures24 @PolesdenLaceyNT

Christmas at Polesden Lacey (well, it’s only the 3rd January….) ⁦‪@PolesdenLaceyNT‬⁩ #polesdenlacey

It’s still Christmas at Polesden Lacey, an Edwardian country house that was the honeymoon venue of the future George VI and the Queen Mother ⁦‪@PolesdenLaceyNT‬⁩ #polesdenlacey #christmaspolesdenlacey

A frosty visit today to Polesden Lacey in Surrey, which was the home of the society hostess Margaret Greville from 1906. She invited the future George VI and Lady Elizabeth Bowe’s Lyon (later the Queen Mother) to honeymoon there in 1923. ⁦‪@PolesdenLaceyNT‬⁩ #georgevi

Credit where it's due - had AMAZING festive fun and frolics at @PolesdenLaceyNT yesterday! 😊The decorations were the BEST we've ever seen and the FOOD WAS AMAZING! The staff were SO friendly and helpful too! ☃️❄️

There is something serene about gardens that are ready for winter. The lavender showing its hardy nature while the roses needing a bit of extra help! #littleadventures24 @PolesdenLaceyNT

This Edwardian house is yellow (!) which to me gives it an art deco feel. Sweeping lawns & impressive statues can be found in the extensive gardens #littleadventures24 @PolesdenLaceyNT

The house of Polesden Lacey is located within the Surrey Hills of England. Discover the tales of the socialite Margaret Greville & the Royal circles she mixed within. Then pop outside for a game of croquet on the lawn. #NationalTrust #PolesdenLaceyNT

After three visits, we finally captured everything we wanted from the National Trust’s Polesden Lacey in the Surrey Hills: a beautiful house, beautiful gardens, and a story or two #NationalTrust #PolesdenLaceyNT buff.ly/W0McGJP

What a lovely visit for an October day. ‘The tiger who came to tea’ was visiting with a trail both outside & inside for the littles! #littleadventures24 @PolesdenLaceyNT
