The problem..,much bigger than a few—or even many— #badcops. Too often, governments have not exercised #policepower as a public good...delegated police powers to private citizens. #TrayvonMartin& #AhmaudArbery pursued by armed men seeking #citizensarrest, arguably backed by #laws of their #states.

It's not a technicality. Those men & women in uniform are National Guard not federal troops. The Posse Comitatus Act prohibits the use of federal troops to enforce domestic policy.

These National Guards do not have #PolicePower & cannot arrest anyone.
