#PoliceUniversity features high-school graduates at a police academy led by a crazy detective prof. The three leads are the draw, but the entire cast makes you root for them. Serious moments are offset w/ LOL comedy and warmth. A mysterious crime storyline rounds out the plot.

I think #PoliceUniversity might be a nice watch if one is missing #RacketBoys. Both are slice-of-life, romance, found family, comedy, warmth, serious. Kids are slighly older in PU, which has a stronger crime element, natch.

Seems like the general consensus is that #RookieCops is better than #PoliceUniversity, so I'll go forth with confidence on my next Hulu watch.

#RookieCops and #PoliceUniversity both have a likable bunch of students, great OSTs & a central crime story. RC incorporates the latter thru out the drama, while PU dedicates 4 eps later to it, which may seem jarring from earlier tone. Both dramas end with similar feels.
