In-progress abstract self-portrait on white paper showing a Black man with angular, geometric features. Bold yellow covers the head area like a crown or protective covering. Intense blue and black defines the beard area. Eyes are wide and penetrating, rendered in stark contrasts. The style uses sharp angles and bold color zones rather than realistic curves. A reference photograph is visible to the right showing the artist making a dramatic expression. Oil pastel or crayon on paper, approximately 18x24 inches. Work by Savvye exploring Emotional Angularism."
