In the context of romantic I've seen poly to mean more than one and less than all.
Like I'm polyromantic and pansexual. I don't really like guys as partners emotionally but sex sure. Then the polyromantic is covering women, nonbinary, agender etc.

Loving someone does not always mean you have the capacity to care for someone (in the sense of "being a carer").
One can also be poly to all of these things. Just because you are poly to kink and in the kink scene does not mean you have to be polysexual or polyromantic.

Being polyromantic has definitely been something to get used to. But even then I feel like at my core my heart of hearts will belong to @feedmyfrankenstein.bsky.social, and all the love they’ve shown me has changed my life for the better. I love you so much, my big blue wonder. <3
