My main takeaway right now (beside that the discourse is a complete shitshow of commentators ignorant of phil of mind 101 stuff) is that our present conceptual language really poorly wraps around cognitive/computational dynamics and we need better / more fine grained / less bundled terms & concepts.

I really do get whiplash from this show because in one episode everyone rallies to support a complete stranger who wants to kill herself and then they all rally to make fun of a woman who hasn't done anything except not love their town and sing poorly

Back on Twitter I did an FF7 Minor Characters popularity poll people could vote on. I always go really high effort with these, and I ended up drawing epilogue images for some of the losers lol. I was never very good at drawing and ended up focusing on other stuff, but looking back I'm sad I stopped.

One of my best-performing Letterboxd reviews is a 1-star review for this 'film' (Letterboxd has a lot of bullshit listings/entries, doesn't it??), written as though I were in the auditorium and lost $10,000 betting that all four of the horse's hooves never leave the ground at once (something that did happen to a real person). I know a bunch of those old movies (or whatever) from various film classes, so I postdate the reviews as though they were published day of (as if letterboxd existed). Its a weird thing they let me do, and I have fun with it.
