#PortlandBirding
Spent a couple of hours this morning in awe of seabirds! It was blowing a gale at Portland Bill & I was sheltering behind boulders while the large numbers of seabirds made flying look effortless! I'm no seawatcher so apart from the Gannets have no idea of IDs but they were amazing! #PortlandBirding

There was some discussion amongst birders about the Wheatear that popped up at the end of my little Snow bunting video. I've only ever seen Northern wheatear so can't be sure but she looks like a Northern female to me. (And if only that second shot had been sharp!) #PortlandBirding

A young #RedtailedHawk just crash-landed on the path near me, hotly pursued by a very cranky #StellersJay. You can hear the jay screaming bloody murder throughout, and I caught one lightning blue swoop!
