i know it's not caturday but…
i took this with the spiratone portragon 100m f4, a bizarre and totally underrated little (as in very little) lens. it's so compact bc it's a single-element lens. basically a metal tube with 1 piece of glass at the end.

the online "reviews" for the portragon are pretty uniformly negative
but
you bought a single-element fixed f4 lens… and you complain about aberration and softness?
skill issue

'Dinge die mit "P" beginnen ... ' - das #Portragon von #Spirotone. Ein Einlinser(!), mit dem man selbst heute noch an einer 100MP #Fujifilm #GFX Kamera ordentlich fotografieren kann (siehe Bild 2).

In a hyperreal, overly sharp digital image world, perhaps we should bring back a little more softness...

Maybe we should think about a sister for the #ShittyCameraChallenge - the #ShittyLensChallenge where someone uses lenses on high-quality cameras that are considered to be of poor quality and cost a maximum of two figures - like this #Spiratone #Portragon 100/4 on a #Fujifilm #GFX100S ...

…if you like wild or interesting bokeh, there are LOTS of options
unfortunately most aperture-free lenses are adapted from soviet lenses, in russia or ukraine, and the market has kinda been cut off
the spiratone portragon 100mm f4 is one you can find stateside
