The Portsmouth African Burial Ground Preservation Committee agreed to finalize a simple memorandum of understanding to transfer care of certain remains to the Black Heritage Trail, with detailed transfer conditions to be added later under descendant and archaeologist guidance.

Parks staff reported routine maintenance and identified failing tile adhesive that will require larger work next year; Assistant Mayor Joanna Kelly said she will be on maternity leave and the committee tentatively scheduled the next meeting for January.
