12 days jaw surgery postop update: have been eating SO MUCH mac n cheese and mashed potatoes the past 48 hours, as of today i can kiiiiind of chew again too! talking is still difficult, i can’t pronounce words right due to muscle limitations, but i can speak enough to get by now at least

The outside incisions are soo close to being healed. The inside still can take a while longer to heal but it's going. I am so ready to be shirtless on the beach when it gets warm again! 🤩

And talk through how they handle postop complications like that. In my parent’s case, there were no signs of infection but necrosis was there when they went in! So it was very good that they were proactive and they’ve been meticulous about their healing.

skin graft and muscle graft to rebuild tissue underneath the skin. postop for that is going well. They were in serious pain before surgeries, barely able to move so it was definitely worth it. But I would say, make sure you don’t have to use stairs—it complicates things during recovery.

As a postop if I taken no HRT I am in worse shape that a post-menopausal woman who still has a trickle. It is not good for health to have none. They are part of regulation of too many import systems.
