They ended the video right as the vase inflated... probably because it didn't end well.

Ceramics always keep you humble. I went to pick my pieces and this goat’s glaze had bubbled…
I’ll try to refire it but nit putting my hopes there. Everything else was great.

To say I feel low today after a number of personal failures then finding that a fairly large pot emerged from bisque fire with a sizable crack... Is maybe a bit of an understatement.

ugly glaze crawl, some random chips at the bottom and the foot got scuffed, and it also became way too tiny :D

Now it's time for a #potteryfail.
This learning journey has its ups and downs. This is the largest piece I've made and my biggest disappointment. All of my underglaze burned off and everything is sharp.

You win some you lose some. The handle on this piece was definitely cursed (it broke again during glaze fire and fell and got stuck where it is), and I was too heavy handed with glaze. Will try the same concept later! #potteryfail

This wasn’t supposed to have a handle. The ultimate betrayal - my kiln stilt bent in the glaze fire and the platter tilted and melded with this wind chime piece underneath. #potteryfail
