Sorry to see Gophermods is closing their retail business (their last location at the Quarry) at the end of the month. I haven’t had to use them a lot but found them to be helpful and convenient when I did.

Tweetbot #pouroneout had a 6-hour block which was pretty damn useful for friends lamenting the performance of the sports team you don’t follow.

Timed mutes and timed blocks should be a prioritized option. One of my favorites features of Tapbots apps, Tweetbot and Ivory.
That and being able to keep notes about other accounts, so I could leave a note why I blocked an account, years later remind myself why.

I’d love this. I’ve blocked people in the past and then later decided to unblock them, and the interactions improved and now we’re mutuals.

My Uptown opinion is that is began an unstoppable slide into terrible when "tear down the cool music bar to build an expensive winter coat store" was the prevailing idea.

I’m so old I remember locals pumped about getting an ESPNZone in Block E, only to have that evaporate before the doors opened iirc & we got GameWorks, the Shasta to Coca-Cola. Boggles the mind now that Hard Rock, Cold Stone Creamery and Barnes & Noble gave it a go. AMC movie theater #pouroneout
ESPN Bet is reportedly a huge disappointment for the company, which is good because it's high time that ESPN get out of the gambling racket and go back to their roots: opening a series of sports-related bar-and-grills throughout the country.
